Nobody is more confident than someone giving advice about a problem they have never experienced
Call me a nerd, but I need this immediately
The older I get, the more I respect anyone who can apologize without adding “but..”
Vancouver is nice in the summer 🌞 25 minute bike ride → 20 minute walk → 60 minutes pickleball → 20 minute walk → 25 minute bike ride → Coming back off a 10 month foot injury I miss all this. You guys staying active this summer?

People will spend years trying to look successful instead of building a life they actually enjoy
The Original Content Rewards Program is far better than the old Creator Revenue Sharing Program. Let me explain to you why... Incentive structures matter for a social platform. What you reward is what you will get. For starters... in the old model, the way you qualified was completely the opposite of how you earned. People would spam replies to big accounts to farm 5M impressions for 90 days... Only to learn you then earn primarily based off your own posts. And that is exactly what they were not focusing on that whole time since they were just reply guying to get in. So they'd be frustrated that they qualified but did not earn much once they were in.. Now, you get in by 500,000 verified home timeline impressions from your OWN posts which is exactly how you earn. The old model incentivized small accounts engaging with the same big accounts. Now let's talk about those big accounts... Some of them learned that the way you earned the most is by volume posting and driving engagement (more engagement = more pay) What better way to get engagement than just ripping off proven viral content from other platforms? This is what some of them would do: Spam post multiple times an hour with content that was not theirs from an endless supply of proven viral content. That is what made them the top earners on 𝕏, netting $5 to 20K+ bi-weekly off of unoriginal content that they did not own. Incentivizing original content and not just gaming of the system is clearly a net positive for the platform. It will also improve our timelines to where we don't just see the same stuff over and over. What are your thoughts?

Do you think you could comfortably spend an entire week completely alone?
True tech nerds use Androids and always have.
I’m not saying hotdogs are the perfect food. I’m just saying nobody has successfully proven otherwise.
The algorithm: Post something you worked on for an hour: 700 impressions. Post “this is a potato”: 34,000 impressions. Excellent.
What’s the longest you’ve ever gone without using social media?
We used to get excited when someone came online. Now we get excited when nobody contacts us.
I think everyone has one friendship where you could go six months without speaking and somehow continue the conversation exactly where you left it
How come being quiet makes people ask “what’s wrong?” but talking nonstop is somehow considered normal
Nothing makes $100 feel more like $10 than walking into a grocery store
𝕏 needs an “I typed a reply but decided this person isn’t worth it” button. I would be one of the top users.
I would like social media more if every app had a mandatory “go outside” screen after two hours. I would immediately try to bypass it.
