UNREAL: A New Jersey school district athletic director was caught on camera peering into a young girl’s bedroom window!! Winfield “Tripp” Becker, the athletic director for Hopewell Valley Regional School District, was identified in surveillance footage outside a home in Plumstead Township, Pennsylvania. Police say the video shows him looking into the bedroom of a young girl around 10:40 p.m. on August 6. The family had installed cameras after previous incidents of someone knocking on the window and running away. Becker was charged with loitering and prowling at night and harassment. The school district placed him on leave and notified parents that the incident occurred outside district borders and involved no students. He is scheduled to appear in court next month. My bill the Protect Children’s Innocence Act, HR 3492, passed the House and is sitting in the Senate waiting to be voted on. It would criminalize gender affirming care on minors under 18 aka trans medical treatments on kids. It is Trump’s EO and Vance the Senate bill sponsor before he became VP. Why won’t Senate Republicans vote on this bill the House passed? Go on record. Which Senators will vote to protect children and allow them to just grow up before they make any changes to their body? Are they refusing to vote on it because it’s my bill? Is the WH holding it back because it has my name on it? Are they that petty, that they would refuse to take the one opportunity they have in front of them right now with a bill that’s already passed the House, a bill that the vice president sponsored as a senator, and a bill that the president signed an executive order saying the same thing? Why can’t Republicans protect kids like they campaigned and promised they would?

South Carolina passed a law that aims to protect kids from addictive social media use. The law requires large social media companies to estimate a user’s age using information they already collect, such as behavior, activity, account details, or device data. >If someone uses the app for more than 25 hours within six months, the company must be at least 80% confident the person is older than 15. >If the person reaches 50 hours of use, the company must be 90% confident. >If the company cannot reach that confidence level, it must assume the user is a child. The company must also recheck the age estimate every additional 100 hours of use and whenever it uses recommendation systems or analyzes user behavior. If the company wrongly treats a child as an adult, it can face fines up to $10,000 per violation. When a user is treated as a child, the platform must add protections such as parental permission tools, fewer addictive features like infinite scrolling or highly personalized feeds, stronger privacy settings, less data collection, more parental controls, and yearly safety reviews focused on risks to minors. The law applies to major online platforms that operate in South Carolina and are likely to be used by people under 18. Sc:

We are one of a handful of sites actually complying with the law so why has your office @AGIowa gone on record saying that our letter asking lawmakers to better serve their constituents with laws that actually protect kids shows us seeking to avoid “common-sense age verification tools designed to protect children"? Most websites are ignoring your law and your citizens are visiting dangerous adult sites instead. There is nothing ‘common sense’ about asking users to share id every time they visit an adult site.
