🚨North Carolina booked a Salvadoran illegal as a white male after a crash that left three people de*d!!! Javiel Pena Sola, 42, is charged with three counts of felony hit-and-run involving serious injury or de*th after a July 18 wreck on NC 150 in Salisbury. Salisbury Police say two people in a 2018 Kia Forte were pronounced gone at the scene. The third was airlifted and later d*ed. They have been identified as David Garcia-Obrajero, 63, Homero Pineda Delgado, 47, and Esteban Salazar Hernandez, 32. Court papers and the local mugshot line list him as white. The WSOC package running with his orange-jail photo puts the same label on screen: “Race White.” DHS says he is a citizen of El Salvador who claimed he crossed the Arizona border illegally in 2002. That is the booking trick. A Salvadoran with a Spanish surname and an ICE file gets filed like a white American so the next crime chart never has to say illegal. He did not stay with the wreck. Police say he crashed again about 500 feet away, left the car in a creek bed, and ran. A Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team found him. Witnesses told Channel 9 they heard screaming before EMS got there. One passenger was still alive when Sola ran. That passenger did not make it. Maryland already had him in 2015 for fleeing a crash and driving with no license, then an escape-from-custody arrest. Baltimore honored an ICE detainer and handed him to ICE in March 2016. ICE let him walk in May 2016. Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said the quiet part: “Although ICE had arrested him in 2016, the Obama Administration released him into American communities.
