Square Enix is now sounding very confident about Kingdom Hearts IV releasing in 2027.
Tetsuya Nomura made a surprise appearance during the Kingdom Hearts D23 panel
“It will definitely not be delayed from 2027.”
Director Tai Yasue then backed him up, saying:
“Absolutely no delay. 100%.”
Nomura also talked about the newly announced Kingdom Hearts animated series, confirming that he is “quite heavily involved” with the project.

Square Enix says a Final Fantasy XV port for Nintendo Switch 2 is possible, but it won’t be easy.
During a recent shareholder meeting, the company said, “While there are certain hardware constraints when it comes to faithfully replicating the exact experience of Final Fantasy XV, we can say that it is not entirely impossible.”
When asked if the game could come to Switch 2, Square Enix didn’t make any promises. Instead, it said, “We will pass along your input to the development team as a valuable perspective on marketing and future platform options.”

Square Enix has quietly removed the free demo versions of several Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX titles from the U.S. Nintendo Switch eShop without any official explanation.
The removed demos are:
-KINGDOM HEARTS - HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX - Cloud Version
-KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue - Cloud Version
-KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind
The full paid cloud versions remain available for purchase on the U.S. eShop. However, the demos are still available in other regions, including parts of Europe and the UK.
Neither Square Enix nor Nintendo has commented on the removals.
Some fans believe this could hint at future native, non-cloud versions of the games
