A former Starfield lead says don’t expect Starfield 2. Kurt Kuhlmann, lead systems designer on the first game, told FRVR he’d be “very surprised” if Bethesda made a sequel. “I don’t think Starfield was anywhere near successful enough to do a Starfield 2.” He said a two “could have been much closer to the game that Todd had in mind.” Outposts were the example. Cool as a sandbox, not tied to the story. Bethesda hasn’t cancelled anything. Todd Howard said in July they’re still doing Year 3 updates and new Starborn content next year. Studio’s on The Elder Scrolls 6.

As fans continue to suggest potential subtitles for The Elder Scrolls 6 based on the number of asterisks in Xbox boss Asha Sharma’s tweet, a theory that Bethesda hid the actual name in Starfield years ago has emerged.

Bethesda’s main focus remains The Elder Scrolls VI, and full development on Fallout 5 won’t begin until after that game is finished. > Obsidian is officially working on a new Fallout project. >Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are both getting remasters. Bethesda says both classics are being updated for modern platforms > The Elder Scrolls VI is now Bethesda Game Studios’ main priority, with most of the team focused on its development. > Starfield isn’t going anywhere. After Fallout 4, many Bethesda developers expected The Elder Scrolls 6 to be the studio’s next big game. Former Skyrim co-lead says that was what “most people wanted” at the time. Bethesda had a familiar cycle of Fallout → Elder Scrolls → Fallout, so TES 6 seemed like the obvious next step. But Todd Howard decided to make Starfield. “No, we’re doing Starfield,” Fallout 76 also took up much more of Bethesda’s time than originally planned, further delaying the next Elder Scrolls game. Kuhlmann says he personally would have preferred making TES 6 instead of Fallout 76 and Starfield, and believes many people at the studio felt the same way. Thanks Todd for wasting so many time in that game, we could have been playing TES VI already

Fans think they may have figured out the subtitle for The Elder Scrolls VI. >A recent post about TES VI showed 8 symbols hiding the game’s subtitle. Fans quickly noticed that “SENTINEL” fits the 8 letters, and Sentinel has already been mentioned as a possible subtitle in previous rumors. >There’s also an interesting connection to Starfield, players noticed that the employee number shown during character creation can apparently be decoded using a very simple method to spell “SENTINEL.” >And this isn’t a new discovery because someone pointed out the Starfield connection more than two years ago, long before the latest TES VI teaser. >There are also claims that Sentinel was hinted at in older Bethesda material, with one detail reportedly being changed between different reveals. >Former Bethesda developer Michael Kirkbride has also made a cryptic comment about the theory

There are far too many coincidences lining up that The Elder Scrolls 6 is likely titled "Sentinel" - If this is true, this lines up with the past decade of speculation that TES6 takes place in Hammerfell - Asha Sharma and Bethesda have teased TES6's title is made up of eight letters - The Elder Scrolls writer "Michael Kirkbride" agrees that this is the likely title - Starfield Direct may have hinted at the title being Sentinel years ago - A scratch from the Starfield reveal trailer also seemed to have hinted that the game takes place possibly across Hammerfell AND High Rock provinces - Sentinel is the capital of both the Alik'r Desert region and the Myrkwasa region of the Alik'r. The Elder Scrolls 6: Sentinel is a title that is already growing on me, it's not the first time a TES game was named after a location in the game rather than the actual province like Oblivion, and I do wonder how significant of a setting the city of Sentinel will be. Maybe it'll be this game's Whiterun, the first major city of the game.

Elon Musk on Starshield. "Starshield has become a vital part of national security." Starlink connects civilians. Starshield is the classified sibling — same rocket stack, different mission. SpaceX can't say much because the work is sensitive. The point is still clear: orbital hardware is now national-security infrastructure, not a side project. • Starshield — classified / government lane • Starlink — open connectivity lane • Same company building both at orbital scale Quiet capability. Hard mission. Vital, not optional.
