If it looks a bit washed out it is because of the blinding south Texas sun and the wind noise covers up all the happy raptor noises but overall not to bad. They run the water deluge again after the hellfire. I also like the way the new cladding on tower reflected said hellfire

Certainly looks like she is heading west to get back home. The debate is still on whether FORTE will go via the Cape of Good Hope or through the canal, but I’d be betting on the former. What do you think?

What an effort! SpaceX’s vessel recovery crew absolutely kicked ass getting Ship 40 ready to come home. 🇺🇸👋
SpaceX engineers spent several days inspecting Ship 40 in the waters off Christmas Island. They collected heatshield samples and gained vital insight into how the vehicle handled reentry with improvements now planned on future vehicles

The vessel FORTE moving at around 10 knots should get in to meet Ship 40 in just a little over 12 hours. I hope they wait till morning to do any fun stuff.
