TAKE-TWO SIGNS NEW LONG-TERM XBOX PUBLISHER DEAL WITH MICROSOFT
$TTWO and $MSFT signed a new agreement covering Take-Two’s games across all Xbox devices, replacing the company’s prior Xbox publishing deals.
Take-Two will receive wholesale pricing and/or revenue share on digital products sold by Microsoft.
Microsoft retains approval rights over game concepts, final versions and certain marketing materials.
The agreement took effect Sept. 17.

The company’s total market value fell by more than $2.8 billion in less than two days.
Take-Two Interactive stock rose nearly 5% today after Rockstar confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI preorders will open on June 25.
The news boosted investor confidence ahead of the game’s November 19 launch, which is expected to be one of the biggest releases in gaming history.
