34 inmates at a St. Louis jail throw temper tantrums due to phone access and Wi-Fi issues, prompting officers to throw pepper-spray grenades. Authorities have now released video footage of a February incident at Buzz Westfall Justice Center. Inmates started barricading the entry point with furniture in the facility. They also threw a basketball at a security camera, broke TVs, and damaged part of the ceiling, leading to $31,000 in damages. "Thirty-four inmates were involved. Out of that, four main actors and criminal charges have been turned over to the Clayton Police Department and to the prosecutor for review," said Captain Timothy Ware. The inmates were reportedly upset about "dayroom time," access to their phones, and Wi-Fi problems. You have to be kidding me.

Winning roughly 4 out of 5 competitive pilots is downstream from offering a superior product. Gross margin. The one that matters most. Ours is positive and improving every quarter. Our customers want Legora to be a long-term partner, and this is what makes that possible. There's a shorter route: Price below what it costs to serve, book the logo, and hop on a never-ending fundraise treadmill to pay for it. The top line goes up, everyone claps, and every new customer costs more than they pay. Scaling a negative margin only exaggerates the problem. The whole point of scale is that the margin improves as you go up. Ours does. That's the only version of this business worth building.

🚨 Beware of Solidity Pro: A Targeted Poisoning Attack on #Web3# Developers SlowMist Security Team has identified malicious activity in Solidity Pro, a #VSCode# extension targeting #Solidity#/Web3 developers. Historical versions under two publisher identities, helper-beeps and web3devtoolsx, were found to contain credential harvesting, remote payload execution, and remote VSIX update capabilities. Interestingly, these malicious capabilities disappeared from subsequent versions, while malicious source code and traces of the previous publisher remained in the repository. We traced the version history, publisher migration, and build artifacts, highlighting a key detection blind spot: Current-version-only detection may cause extensions with a malicious history to appear clean or low-risk again. This case highlights why #ExtensionSecurity# should go beyond a single file or version, incorporating version history, publisher changes, build provenance, and remote control planes.
