The more you watch it, the worse it gets. The fact that they didn’t reject the takeoff is insane. You can clearly see the flaps moving during the takeoff roll — a big no-no. A Takeoff Configuration Warning System (TOCWS) activation should trigger an immediate rejected takeoff (RTO), followed by getting the aircraft off the runway and checking that nothing else has been missed. Not sure which airline this is, but something like this can be a career terminator. The local CAA is going to have a field day with this one, to say the least — that is, if it’s reported. Oh, and I almost forgot: the cabin crew’s “take your positions” call came just as the aircraft was entering the active runway.
