The debt of gratitude we owe Michael Milken is grossly underrated.
Not enough people know or understand the extent to which Michael Milken is an American hero.
By inventing junk bonds, he revolutionized capitalism, putting inefficiency and corporate complacency in the crosshairs. Armed with only a "highly confident" letter, anyone could be a hunter and anyone could be prey.
Milken's innovation meant that new ideas flourished, and CEOs were forced to adopt an "evolve or die" mentality.
There are now millions of people have jobs because of Michael Milken. America itself is more competitive globally because of him.
And after he got out of jail, he revolutionized how we approach philanthropy and cancer research.
And despite his pardon, he still has a lifetime ban from the SEC (since 1990) for the securities industry. Travesty.

Shkreli deserves a pardon ASAP.
He bounced back from a politicized prison sentence and immediately mastered crypto and AI.
