Persona 4 Revival producer Kazuhisa Wada has confirmed that some of Yosuke’s dialogue has been updated fitting for the “world we live in now." Wada explained, “He’s a little bit insensitive in terms of how he treats outsiders sometimes. So we wanted to lighten that up and make it a little bit more fitting for the world we live in now.” He added that the team didn’t want to change who Yosuke is as a character. Persona 6 director and producer Kazuhisa Wada says he wants his games to be like “poison”, something that stays with players and makes them think. Instead of making safe, easy-to-forget games, he wants them to challenge people’s ideas and leave a strong impression. Wada said he is not trying to shock players with extreme content. He wants to tell stories that people will remember and think about long after finishing the game. He has described the Persona series as “deadly poison covered in a sweet coating.”
