The problem with cold outreach isn't that it's cold. It's that most people ask before giving value. This person asked me to try their product, star the repo, and follow two accounts. I didn't know them or why I should care. The reality is that strangers do not care about you or what you're selling. They care about themselves and what you can do for them. Start there. Be curious about what THEY are doing. Give value based off what they do, aggressively. Then make the ask.

People will tell you they want a better life: more money, a nicer job, a hot partner, etc. Most people are not willing to make the multi-year sacrifices required to get those things. This is totally okay, btw. It is not for everyone. The path can be very lonely, sad, and frustrating. But if you are ambitious, it is imperative to your success that you surround yourself with people who have winner mindsets. Those who have greater aspirations for themselves. Those who understand the value of hard work. Those who are disgusted with mediocrity. Others, including friends and family, may unintentionally pull you down by being negative, reinforcing the habits you’re trying to escape, or judging you for focusing on yourself. These people could be your siblings. Your parents. Your best friend of 10+ years. If you want to accomplish great things, remove these people from your life as fast as possible. Cut everyone out if you have to.
