We made a small film some time ago to give an update on our progress. A reminder as to why @buildwithcuby exists. We aim to become “the building company” … infrastructure for how [anything] gets built. We’re starting with housing because it’s the most critical right now. To get costs down and speed up, we have to solve for reduction in specialized labor throughout the build process. It is the biggest needle mover. Therefore, we had to invent a process/system for building without ANY specialized labor. We built a ton of hardware/software to do so and are distributing this system via our Mobile Micro-Factories™ — “a factory in a box” that gets deployed near demand. It attacks construction’s biggest nemesis — logistics. Getting the right people, materials, and information in the right place at the right time. It’s a complex problem — and it’s critical that we solve it. If we get it right, the world will start to feel less bleak.
