A giant “green power bank” is taking shape in the Gobi Desert in northwest China.
Operating around the clock, it generates 390 million kWh of electricity each year while cutting CO₂ emissions by an estimated 350,000 tonnes.
The deserts of today may well become the powerhouses of tomorrow.
