Medical debt overwhelms hardworking families who are already struggling. It also prevents them from securing the American Dream of owning a home, due to bad credit. By relieving medical debt, we can do a lot more than just clearing a billing statement – we can change a life for the better.

Medical debt isn't a choice – it's what people are faced with after a serious accident, cancer diagnosis or more. Today I took a step to relieve $250 million in medical debt for more than 130,000 Kentuckians.
