Most leadership books tell you to wake up at 5:00 AM. That’s actually when I go to sleep. My routine has always been non-traditional. Sleep at 5:00, wake up around 11:30 AM and in the office by noon.
Surprisingly, it’s one of the best choices I’ve made as a CEO.
I get 4 quiet hours every night to plan, analyze, and do real work without back-to-back meetings or distractions. And by the time I arrive at the office, the team has already solved most of the day-to-day issues on their own.
To me, this makes the organization far more mature.
Real productivity comes when you carve out time where your best thinking actually happens.
