⚓️ Ethra Ship Notes|Vol.027
Today, I found myself thinking about the difference between finance and operations.
Finance is good at creating ownership.
Operations are what create value.
A token can represent a ship.
But it can't sail across an ocean.
A smart contract can record a transaction.
But it can't inspect a vessel before departure.
A blockchain can prove when something was recorded.
It still needs someone—or something—to prove what actually happened in the physical world.
That's why I believe the future of tokenization depends on much more than blockchain technology.
It depends on servicing.
Reporting.
Verification.
Enforcement.
These aren't the most exciting words in crypto.
But they're the reason real industries work.
As tokenization expands beyond financial products into operating businesses, the conversation naturally becomes less about issuance and more about execution.
Because real-world assets don't stop evolving after they're tokenized.
They continue generating revenue.
They require ongoing decisions.
They interact with the physical economy every single day.
The strongest RWA infrastructure won't simply connect assets to blockchain.
It will continuously connect blockchain to reality.
That's the bridge I'm watching most closely.
