It wasn't natural. It didn't reflect how people really felt. It was all just fake consensus built through extensive censorship and propaganda campaigns. When Twitter became X, it was like opening a bypass valve because suddenly you could see people's unfiltered, uncensored opinions and watch events that you previously weren't allowed to notice. So now instead of the old propaganda with smiles and rainbows everywhere, you get to see the ugliness and rot all around us. You're inundated with the filth put out by Third World accounts that bear absolutely no resemblance to the promise of Apu. You see Leftists cheering for the public murder of a man whose only "crime" was humiliating their stupid arguments. You see Jews cackling like caricatures over British girls being gang-raped by Muslims. You see feminists shrieking that a woman should get to methodically murder her own children without consequences if she's hormonal. You see "Classical Liberals" calling direct quotes from the writers of the Constitution regarding the nature of citizenship "fascist" and "proto-Hitler." And- more importantly- you're seeing the actual, righteous fury it all generates in your fellow man, and finally knowing that you aren't alone in a madhouse. And you realize that this is a fight we can win.
