John Andrews is a great cultural icon representing the Colorado that thrived before the political carpet baggers of the left had their way with the state. Had he defeated Roy Romer for the governship of Colorado perhaps we would not be teetering so wildly today. Perhaps the promise of 1876 can be recaptured for our state once again.
