Imagine calling a taxi that never shows up — then getting billed for a ride you never took.
That’s what Adnan “Eddie” Arshad of Long Island, NY, was convicted of doing, allegedly offering fake rides into Manhattan as part of a health care fraud scheme.
Arshad was convicted of conspiracy to commit health care fraud and money laundering.
The War on Fraud continues.
