Sources familiar with the talks tell me: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent & USTR Jamieson Greer worked out an agreement to have a direct "hotline" with China over artificial intelligence. This "hotline", similar to the direct line of communication the military has, will allow either side to have a direct line if any issues arise with AI over hacking, national security concerns, rogue A-I's, or other AI concerns. Sources familiar with the meeting between Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng involved the full delegations this morning. Later today the ministers will break off and hold a one on one discussions.
