Terrific presentation from @AaronSiriSG on facts versus beliefs regarding the vaccines mandated under Florida law.
Because vaccine manufacturers are often legally protected in the U.S., the incentives to improve safety that exist for other products are largely absent here. As a result, we have to rely on clinical trials that almost always lack placebo control groups and have short follow-up periods (for example, hepatitis B vaccines for infants were approved by the FDA for infants based on less than a week of safety data).
