In 1973, we were sitting around the table for Yom Kippur in Beirut when we heard of the coordinated attacks from several Arab states on Israel (with the goal of eradicating the Jewish state). Imagine if over the past 53 years, Arabs had spent all of their energies developing the rich fabric of their societies rather than singularly focus on their canonical hatred of Jews. May the mindset of existential peace take place soon, inshallah.
