If you fly the national flag in Wales 🏴 or Scotland 🏴 it is called “progressive nationalism”.
If you fly the Palestine 🇵🇸 flag in any of our major cities it’s called “solidarity” or “resistance”.
If you fly the Pride 🏳️🌈 flag on any of our streets it’s called “respecting human rights”.
If you fly the Ukraine 🇺🇦 flag it’s called “defending Western values”.
But if you fly the England 🏴 flag it is called “racist” or “intimidating minorities”.
Only the English are treated this way.
Only the English are told to hide who they are.
Only the English are told not to celebrate their identity.
