Is indexing a solved problem? It came up at a recent panel on blockchain data. The short answer: no. 70+ chains. Different VMs. Different client implementations. Hundreds of protocol-specific contracts. DEX trades alone required integrating 150+ protocols before a coherent data format emerged. This is why The Graph has spent years building industry-leading data solutions.

Blockchain data quality used to be about consensus. Multiple providers, same output, trust the agreement. That's evolving. The future is verification: cryptographic proof of data from the block level up, with a full audit trail built in. @brandonlkramer joined the Crypto's Toughest Data Problems (and how to solve them) panel discussion at the @Blockworks Digital Asset Summit to talk about where that's heading.

Nick (@TwentyTwoNode), The Graph Foundation Lead @ConsensusMiami, on where the industry is heading: "You're going to be hard-pressed to ever come up with some rationale where data isn't a core story of what happens to the future of blockchain." Institutions have arrived. AI has arrived. The Graph has been building for this since the start.

THE BLOCKCHAIN HUSTLER 🎙️ At @consensus2026, @EricSpivak sits down with @graphprotocol to discuss why #blockchain’s# next major bottleneck may not be transactions—but data access. As #AI# agents and institutions move onchain, indexing and querying data becomes critical for Web3.

The official Agent0 Subgraphs are now live on @base, @BNBCHAIN, @ethereum, @monad_xyz, and @0xPolygon. Real-time indexing for every ERC-8004 agent — identity, capabilities, reputation, validation. Built as a public good with @graphprotocol.

Hosting my first @graphprotocol Builders Office Hours - today. Before I start asking builders the questions, I'm asking @Marcus_Rein_ one: after 140 episodes, what does the ecosystem actually look like from where you're standing? 2:30 pm UTC / 8 pm IST - tune in.

Consensus Miami was AMAZING! One thing was clear throughout the week: the industry is focused less on hype and more on products people can actually use. Stablecoins, tokenization, payments, and AI-powered tools dominated conversations both on stage and in the halls. The vibe this year felt much more grounded, more builders, more real business discussions, and a lot more focus on how crypto fits into everyday systems. Great seeing so many familiar faces, partners, founders, and friends all in one place. Big shoutout to our clients @CertiK, @graphprotocol, @fhenix, @TrustWallet, #Sosana#, @w3arew3, @worldnetwork, @aultblockchain, @opentrade_io, @NexusLabs, @KresusOfficial, #Nvnm#, @spaceandtime, #Stables#, @humanapi, @OpenPayd - for being part of an amazing week, and already looking forward to doing it all again next year.

"Mostly right, most of the time" doesn't cut it anymore. AI agents executing onchain strategies autonomously. Smart contracts settling in seconds. Cross-chain protocols composing in real time. But all of it depends on one thing: the data being right.

3 years ago, sequential indexing was enough. Then @Solana. @Base. @BNBCHAIN . Chains that generate transaction volumes sequential processing can't keep pace with. The paradigm shifted from APIs to streaming, and that shift is why Substreams exists.

Substreams lets you write Rust functions that transform blockchain data, then stream the output wherever you need it: To a SQL database. To aPubSub. Directly to your app or trading terminal. One pipeline, multiple destinations.

If you're building an AI agent that needs onchain data like DEX activity, positions, governance, or protocol activity, the Subgraph Gateway now accepts x402 payments. One HTTP request. USDC on @base or Base Sepolia. No accounts, no keys. Docs:

For any enterprise considering doing indexing work in-house, it is sometimes harder than it looks. Definitely reach out to some of the folks who have been doing this from the very beginning. The Graph set the standard.

One GraphQL schema. Five mainnets. Zero rewrites. The Agent0 Subgraphs are live on @Base, @BNBCHAIN, @Ethereum, @Monad, and @0xPolygonFdn — indexing every ERC-8004 agent on every chain in real time. Search "agent0" on Graph Explorer. 👇
