🚨 Hyperliquid Just Opened a Market for Private AI
Two developments this week show where the ecosystem is heading:
1⃣
@Trezor added native HyperEVM support, letting users manage HYPE and HyperEVM assets directly in Trezor Suite while keeping keys offline.
2⃣
@entropyIO launched Anthropic perpetuals on Hyperliquid, backed by a $14M seed round and a $40M hyperliquid:native stake.
The Anthropic market is the more interesting experiment.
Entropy uses HIP-3 to create a liquid market for a private company that has no public stock price, with a liquidity-weighted oracle that gives more weight to Hyperliquid’s own order-book depth.
That means
@HyperliquidX could become more than a place to trade existing assets.
It could become a price-discovery layer for assets that never had a liquid market in the first place.
Think private AI labs, infrastructure companies, indices and other 24/7 markets.
Early Anthropic trading reportedly reached ~$3M volume and ~$2M OI in its first 24 hours, showing there is clearly demand, even if the extreme implied valuations also highlight the speculative risk.
Put this alongside improving HyperEVM infrastructure and hardware-wallet support, and the bigger picture becomes clearer:
Hyperliquid is building both sides of the market with better infrastructure for holding assets, and new markets for trading them.
The real question now is whether this liquidity can stay deep enough to make these experimental markets useful, not just exciting.
