some traders have mentioned they are being offered large piles of cash to leave fomo & trade on another app for 3 months. our response is and always will be that we will never pay anyone to trade on our app. the entire fomo network has been built organically. we feel that the only way we can build a long term social platform for finance is for it to be organic. every social platform allows for better experiences as a user grows. we must allow for the same and do things that scale the social graph. i.e. attribution, monetization, etc. are problems we MUST solve in order to achieve this goal. we have lots of exciting things to launch that will allow top users grow with the platform as they bring balue. on the flip side, we’re also grateful to have helped build a social network where the top users can command such high markets. there are some ppl i speak to where i suggest taking the deal if its something thatll help their life. i am never someone to get in the way of someone and their business. the value of todays top users on fomo is already so high, and we only expect that to grow. traders are the next celebrities and they will be the biggest celebrities among the current & future generations to come. we hope fomo can steward in that future. today, people use fomo because it is the best product and because we treat people with respect and transparency. those are the only two things that matter to us. with scale comes problems to solve. we are committed to making this the best trading product in the world. every waking hour is spent towards working to this goal (including this one). as always, my dm’s are always open for feedback, issues, and ideas.
