OpenRouter is now a built-in backend for `video_generate`, giving Hermes access to its live catalog of video models through one connection. And this isn’t a hardcoded list. Hermes pulls the catalog directly from OpenRouter, so supported models can be added without Hermes needing a separate integration for every one. One of the biggest parts of this is reference images. Supported models can use images to help guide the subject, look, and visual consistency of a generated video. Some models also support frame images for more direct control over how the video starts. Hermes automatically adapts the available controls to the model you choose, including duration, resolution, aspect ratio, audio, seed, and other supported options.
