On 19 August 1980, Saudia Flight 163 made a successful emergency landing following mid-flight cargo fire. Although the plane landed safely, the crew failed to perform an emergency evacuation, leading to the deaths of all 301 people on board. It is considered one of the deadliest aviation disasters.
