There is a clear advantage over CLOB dexs when it comes to breadth of asset listings, you can't rest quotes in 800 illiquid tickers, no MM is going to do that, and an empty book is worse for a venue than not listing at all imo
So dealer models are great for making the market exist and tradeable, but comes with plenty of trade offs (e.g. youโre getting cooked on the spread without evening knowing it)
But thankfully this is only step one
