⚡️Defense Brief⚡️ Cambridge Aerospace closed a $300 million Series C at a $3.4 billion valuation, led by DFJ Growth, an early backer of SpaceX, Anduril, and Neuralink. The valuation is 2.6x what it was just four months ago. Total raised is now roughly $636 million. The Cambridge, England-based company builds Skyhammer, a low-cost interceptor designed to shoot down cheap attack drones. It is already supplying the UK Ministry of Defence under a live low-cost interceptor program. Other investors in the round include Lux Capital, Elad Gil, Accel, Lakestar, and Never Lift. Cambridge Aerospace was founded in 2024 by Steven Barrett, an ex-MIT aerospace engineer, alongside an ex-Anduril executive and a serial founder. The former UK defence secretary chairs the board.
