If you haven't heard of Founders School, they're a radical new high school launching in New York City this fall. The promise: students build a business that generates $1,000,000 in profit by graduation or the full tuition is refunded. Tuition runs $150,000 a year. But not every family can afford that. Which is exactly why they're building "simulation games." The goal is to build the first business simulation game where progress is gated by mastering real entrepreneurship skills. As young players advance in the game, they learn the practical skills to go build a business in real life. For this role, they want a game director to ship the first playable sim within 12 months. Like Sims or RuneScape, but the skill tree is actually building a company. Crazy opportunity for anyone who believes in entrepreneurship and loves games.
