What you didn't happen to mention was that it wasn't just a normal USC club soccer team practice session, but actually was tryouts day. So there were like 80 skilled undergrads there, all eager to make the team. So it was divided up into a bunch of small-sided 7v7 games. I like to think 45-year-old me kind of held my own, but I'm sure everyone was thinking "Who's the old guy playing in our 7v7 match?" đ
