When you’ve paid off your mortgage on your property it is ALL yours, not the government’s so you should be able to give it to whoever you like as you’ve bought & paid for it whilst paying taxes.
Government’s should have absolutely NOTHING to do with YOUR property.
It’s yours not theirs.
