The new EO on vaccines will make life harder & more expensive for parents who want to vaccinate their kids.
What used to be one office visit + one low-cost combo MMR shot (~$10–$75 range… or free under VFC) will now be THREE separate shots at three separate visits.
MORE trips, MORE time off work, MORE admin fees, MORE hassle, MORE pain for America’s children - and higher odds kids miss doses.
“Big Pharma” & healthcare providers? They could actually sell/administer THREE TIMES the product and bills for three visits under this EO! 🤯🤔

My initial thoughts on this?
1) The President is getting really bad advice in regards to the impacts this is going to have on vaccine confidence and vaccine preventable diseases
2) This administration clearly wants to - and will be - judged based on the health and economic consequences caused by vaccine preventable diseases. At this point we are left to track, quantify, and share that information with the public
3) Clearly this is going to be an issue citizens vote on in the midterms, and in 2028. Republicans now (seemingly gladly) clearly the issue of declining vaccine uptake.
