ALL WISHES COME TRUE (八仙!): the Eight Immortals of Chinese mythology get an origin story as mortal misfits attempting an OCEAN’S-style heist against the gods. A not too irreverent take on the legends but still enormously fun and of course gorgeously animated mayhem.

The chinese cut of The Furious is out and it's pretty wild some of the decisions they took in this one. a LOT of Taslim's stuff is cut. We do get some really really small extra excerpts of action, some pretty dramatic story beat changes (Everything involving Joey's character)

Unbelievable work as always from @asatoshi1. As far as I'm concerned, he's by far the best animator working in fighting animation outside of the stuff seen in chinese blockbuster animations like Nezha and I Am What I Am 2.
