Grok is the best external agent at using Notion. Why?
Because the team who built Grok Bot use Notion every day and a number of them are Notion alums. So when they were building the harness for Grok Bot, they were testing for how well they can use Notion.

Native agent deduping skills and recommending the best one to keep. Don't make 20 "De-slop writing" skills - thats skills slop.
Working on a universal "is this legit?" skill.
Forward profiles, speaking, sponsorships, partnerships, sales emails, jobs, restaurants, etc. tell me if its actually worth considering.
Any advice?
You know whats very cool? When people on your team ship things you had no idea they were working on but its well done, makes sense, and they just did it without asking or needing guidance. Very cooool.

Every good marketer I know has design skills. Gotta be able to make a good looking deck/doc/mock/screenshot/thumbnail/chart otherwise you’ll never be able to communicate your ideas and will rely too heavily on others to get to finish lines.

Every company needs killer Skills library. Not a folder in GitHub that 10% of the company knows how to use. A living library the whole company benefits from.
The best deal review skill gets better every time a sales rep uses it. A great research skill gets discovered instead of rebuilt 50 times. Creating a skill should be as easy as asking to create something useful from based on the context of your work. And the top skills (and skill creators) should rise to the top.
Create, share, collaborate on, discover and understand usage of skills, organize them into databases by team or use case, then use them across any of your agents.
Still early, but the idea is to make Notion the best home for your company’s collective AI skills.
Made a quick demo (all available now)!

@8pq's skill, yapped for 10 minutes, and got new workflow for automating launch emails.
my favorite notion skill: /generate architecture diagrams from meeting notes
i made a skill that generates a lightweight whiteboard HTML artifact based on conversations i have with a customer
the skill gives me a before/after scenario of what we discussed. it makes it easier for me and the customer to conceptualize the problem we're trying to solve.
it's not perfect but it's a good starting point for complex conversations. i'll usually take this and make a prettier version in figjam after.
i wish i had this back when i was working in the data warehouse space

When interviewing at Notion ~4 years ago, I was asked how I'd approach segmenting our market. Oof. How do you find focus with a horizontal product, that's infinitely flexible, and used by 100M global users ranging from my 9 year old niece to execs at large enterprises?
Sure, data and frameworks (a nice 2x2 never hurt anyone). But the answer is mostly "leave the building." Go talk to customers. Ask how they describe what it is you do, why they choose you, and how to serve them better?
For Notion, those customers span what we call the Fortune 5M. It's the hottest AI startups, resilient small businesses, aspiring enterprises, and entrepreneurs building the next thing. Builders and operators inside ambitious companies.
Ramp and OpenAI running their business on Notion. Toyota reinventing how their employees work. An up-and-coming UK agency like BrainLabs building their BrainOS. The supermarket feeding 90% of a continent. A coffee shop in NY. A small goat supply business in Addy, Washington (population: 210), automating work with 2,176 agent runs last month. They all have the right to benefit from AI.

Sometimes AI is very annoying and we've already been very entitled, expecting it to get everything right. But still reminded daily how insane it. Today...
- Get email a event talk/sponsorship from a private equity company
- Forward email to agent to pull list of their portfolio and analyze portfolio against Notion customers to see overlap and make recommendation on if we should participate.
- Get on bike to commute to work
- Get to work with report ready

Build a homegrown agent system....or buy an extensible agent operating system. This is the new daily conversation.
You can build a fleet of agents to run your whole company.
But you just have to also build (and host) the permissions, the interfaces, the databases, the agent configurations, the workflow logic first, the versioning, the integration, the governance, the collaborative workspace.
In theory, you get exactly what you want with all the bells and whistles. But not easy and may end up with AI tooling sprawl, high overhead, and model lock-in. So far I've legitimately only seen one system from one company that came close.
Not to hard sell here, but Notion already built the system for agents to operate on, improves it everyday.
