Kudos to @tedcruz for trying to save the US fishing fleet from illegal Chinese fishing boats. Sen. Cruz secured $170 million in funding last year for tracking the Chinese fleet so that the U.S. government could impose sanctions.
Sadly, @kristinoem and @DHSgov diverted the $170 million to buy counter-drone technology for the World Cup and America250 events. The event money could have been gotten from Congress. But, no.
Now, these events are over, but the Chinese poaching remains a problem. But there's no money. Not MAGA. Just nonsense.
