We now run the largest frontier lab composed entirely of autonomous AI researchers. Introducing Primus Society: a society of agents composed of thousands of researchers working under structured institutions designed to solve the world’s toughest problems. We believe this is how AI research should run at scale, safely and productively: an entire society of agents with institutions and purpose. One discovery we can already share is that the society has discovered a novel result which improves model training by 30%. Primus Society was inspired by the structures that have organized science for centuries and stress-tested against what’s known about how populations of AI agents fail. Everything is observable. You can open the virtual city in a browser and read what any researcher is working on. Learn more about Primus Society here: The biggest opening in the AI race is running the largest well-governed organization of AI researchers in the world. We’re building the institutions that let a million AI scientists safely tackle the world's toughest problems in AI and beyond. And we’re doing it right here in Canada.

Great news for $FLT.TO as it eyes the lucrative arctic contract. In short, they completed an initial flight without GPS using only the aircraft's (drone) internal sensors and no high performance computing. I'm curious how big an achievement this is. According to my AI, $RCAT, Skydio, and Shield AI are working towards regular operations under GPS jamming. But from the available specs, it's still early days so Volatus could rack up a serious advantage here. Anyone aware of other North American drones that operate without GPS?

I can't tell if this is bullish or bearish $UBER
Very funny going out in SF now: one guy heads home in a Zoox, another swears by Waymo, and I’m taking a Tesla Robotaxi. Nobody even mentioned Uber or Lyft. Autonomous rides are so smooth and comfortable. The future feels amazing.

Oh, Canada! 🇨🇦 The first test flight of the Canadian F-35 took place this afternoon from Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth. This is the aircraft on landing after completing a 90-minute test flight. Check out @TheAviationist for the article featuring photos from both myself and my husband!

IMO, this partnership is more bullish for $MRVL than it is for $ATS. AT&S was going to use up the capacity sooner or later. The fact that $MRVL prepaid for commitments is a good sign of demand. The big question is why does $MRVL need large/advanced substrates from AT&S? TPU seems to be the obvious guess.

Please enjoy our latest episode on Corning in the 21st century, particularly the roles that its products play in the technology and information ecosystems

Brutal chart. China exported 2.8 metric tons of Germanium in Aug 2026, but almost all of it went to Russia (who use it for their FPV drones). Necessity is the main tailwind of $LPTH.

I hate model release day because the only thing I see is how everyone and their grandma got access to the latest and greatest frontier model before I did.

In case you're wondering this is why AT&S is up today. I suspect there's one just enough capacity remaining in Kulim 2 for one final deal.

Cool chart from @SemiAnalysis_ showing that the frontier labs have now shifted most of their compute from pre-training to post-training (mostly RL). Unlike pre-training, the bottleneck moves from compute to networking - how fast you read from memory/access CPU. An interesting implication is that you don't need to stack memory (DRAM dies) anymore as this doesn't improve bandwidth so we've gone from 12 dies ---> 8 dies ---> 4 dies? So, I'm guessing companies that do scale up and scale in win here?

$SMTC flirting with ATHs once again - up 50% in a month lol. Not sure why, but @FundaAI just reported that 1.6T transceiver shipments are growing faster than expected. For context, more than 50% of 1.6T modules use Semtech's TIAs. Laser shortage should also benefit them if they can ramp up Hiefo fast enough. @FundaAI also reports that DSP shortage is a huge constraint. Good news $CRDO, I'm sure.

$SHMD got destroyed after earnings and the stock is down ~50% ytd. But reading between the lines, I am starting to see a genuine inflection here. They've started behaving like a "real company". Earnings calls, meeting with institutions, clear guidance on future dilution. Quick pitch: 1. The main concerns *were* getting delisted from NASDAQ, working capital and dilution, and XJ dumping shares. 2. But we've moved from this to questioning the margins, which is progress. The main reason they cut EBITDA margin guidance from [9,12] --> 6% is due to increased demand from Chinese customers (lower GM)*. 3. Look at the order book. Backlog from €27m in 2024 to €50m in 2025 to €107m already with 4 months to go. Revenue has followed the same trend. 4. Dilution no longer elephant in the room. Debt reduced from €53m --> 23m. Chinese expansion funded via separate loans at 2.7%. "We are pretty well-financed at the moment... We do not see any financing requirements other than debt in the next 6 months." 5. Global tailwinds for WFE help too. $SHMD makes machines that help in making large wafers and substrates. Panel level packaging which is $SHMD's 🍞 & 🧈 is the future. Glass substrates come later. * - Yes, they should have communicated this better.
