OpenAI’s DevDay recap is packed. Here’s what caught my eye:
→ Models and speed: GPT-6.1 Sol, Ultrafast, Private Intelligence.
→ Agents and Codex: Dots, cloud Codex, a refreshed CLI, desktop code review, security, the Decisions API, computer use in the Agents API, and Bedrock managed agents.
→ Plugins and building: extensions, easier plugin creation and discovery, plugins in Sites, MCP events, Sign in with ChatGPT, and the OpenAI Marketplace.
→ Working together: ChatGPT Space, Pages, collaborative slides, shared tasks, Slack and Teams integrations, Meetings, and shareable profiles.
There’s also a $500 Pro plan. Some updates are live; others are previews or coming soon.
The first two I want to try? GPT-6.1 Sol against Opus 5.5 and Dots, which are honestly way too cute.

CLAUDE CODE IS DOWN!
Opus5.5 is so powerful that it crashed everything...
OpenAI DevDay is today!
What are we getting?
I’m pretty confident about two things:
→ An AI agent or bot
→ The rumored $500/month plan
And I think OpenAI has something planned for the models too.
I’m especially curious about that last one.
What’s your boldest prediction?

We saved you a seat.
See you tomorrow for the OpenAI DevDay keynote:
When Opus 5.5 came out, did you stick with GPT or switch to Claude?
What’s the best Claude Code skill or prompt you’ve found for web design?
I’m trying to improve the visual quality of the frontends I build.
Claude is great at this, but I want to get better at guiding it on layout, typography, and the overall feel of a site.
If there’s a skill, /design workflow, or prompt that made a real difference for you, please share it. I’d love to try it.

The new Codex sidebar is really incredible
I have a winner after 3 days with GPT‑6 Sol and Claude Opus 5.5: Opus.
→ Sol on High, no Fast Mode ($200 plan): 86% of my weekly limit remains. I’ve used it more heavily, and the limits are excellent. But I’ve had to correct too many missed details.
→ Opus 5.5 on Mid ($20 plan): 13% of my weekly limit used. The quality for that price is incredible.
Opus has given me better results on almost every task I’ve tried.
These aren’t benchmarks, just my experience working with both. It’s not a question of who is better, I still use them together, but if I had to choose one today, I’d pick Opus.
Anthropic really delivered.
Which one would you choose?

Two Macs or one more powerful Mac?
My M4 MacBook Air has 16GB of RAM, and I’m starting to outgrow it.
I’m torn between keeping it and adding a Mac mini with more RAM, or moving to a MacBook Pro.
For coding and AI work, which setup would you choose for the money,and why?

OpenAI, what happened to Astra?
I used GPT‑6 Astra on Xhigh for 30 minutes, and it consumed almost 20% of my plan’s usage limit
(200$ plan)
That’s a big change from my experience before.
I used to choose High or Xhigh because, in my workflow, it often less than Medium,but now is the opposite...
Has anyone else noticed Astra using more of their limit lately?

opus + Sol for finding local clients...
BEST ERA TO HAVE A BUSINESS
My new workflow with GPT‑6 Sol + Claude Opus 5.5 for finding local clients:
I combined my Local Client Prospector + First Customer Finder skills into one Codex skill.
Today I used it to create 4 website demos.
→ Codex finds local businesses, checks for an official website, and gives me their sources and Instagram profiles. I choose who gets a demo.
→ Opus 5.5 uses /design to create artboards. I pick one, and Claude Code builds the site.
→ Sol reviews it and deploys a Vercel preview.
→ On my Mac, Codex uses computer use to send each business a personalized Instagram message with its preview link.
→ Four days later, Codex asks if they replied.
If I confirm they haven’t, it removes only that preview.
The site files stay.This lets me find prospects, make several tailored demos in a day, and reach out without spending hours on every lead.
I don’t know which conversation will turn into a client, but now I can keep showing businesses something real instead of just describing what I could build.

Almost 48 hours with GPT‑6 Sol and Claude Opus 5.5:
→ Sol on High, no Fast Mode, $200 plan: a full day of heavy use, ~8% of my weekly limit used.
→ Opus 5.5 on Mid, $20 plan: ~8% of my weekly limit used. I built 4–5 website drafts for potential clients.
OpenAI did an incredible job with Sol.
Anthropic stepped up too: limit resets, higher usage limits, and serious value from Opus on a $20 plan.
At this level, I don’t care much about picking a winner. Let them work together: one builds, the other challenges and improves.
That combination is seriously powerful.
What do u think?

The beauty of AI in 2026
Codex and Claude
Best era to be alive
GPT-6 SOL VS OPUS 5.5
Same prompt : build an interactive website about imaginary planets.
Both models on High.
GPT-6 Sol
→ 10 minutes
→ 3 planets
→ 1% usage on the 200 plan.
Claude Opus 5.5
→ 26 minutes
→ a full explorable solar system with more detail
→ 16% usage on the 20 plan.
The planets are surprisingly similar.
Sol is faster ,Opus bigger and more detailed.
Which one are you picking?

CODEX SKILL THAT TURNS CUSTOMER FEEDBACK INTO A ROADMAP!
Most feedback analysis stops at positive or negative.
I made a Codex skill that turns support tickets, interviews, surveys, reviews, sales calls, and churn notes into evidence-backed product priorities and credible customer proof.
Give it your feedback files and Codex maps recurring pains, ranks what to build next, and links every recommendation back to exact evidence IDs.
It keeps four things separate:
-what customers said
-the underlying problem
-what to validate or build next
-what you can honestly claim
-> feedback clustering with source traceability
-> product opportunity scoring
-> Now / Next / Later roadmap
-> customer proof + case-study candidates
-> objections, churn risks, and unsupported claims
-> searchable Startup Customer Evidence Map
-> privacy-first quote and consent handling
-> one-command install
What would you analyze first: support tickets, interviews, or churn notes?

CODEX SKILL THAT FINDS YOUR STARTUP’S FIRST CUSTOMERS!
I made a Codex skill that analyzes your startup and finds potential customers from real public signals.
Paste your startup URL while Codex defines your ideal customer, searches public discussions, qualifies each prospect, and generates a polished report with personalized outreach openers.
-> ideal customer profile analysis
-> public pain + buying signal research
-> evidence-backed prospect shortlist
-> fit, timing + reachability scores
-> original source links for every prospect
-> personalized outreach openers
-> polished HTML report

CODEX SKILL THAT FINDS COMPLEXITY HOTSPOTS IN YOUR CODEBASE!
I made a Codex skill that analyzes your codebase and reports where performance can be improved safely.
Scan your project while Codex checks loops, repeated lookups, render-heavy code, N+1 patterns, and places where complexity can potentially be reduced without breaking behavior.
-> codebase complexity analysis
-> O(n²), O(n*m), repeated scan detection
-> before/after complexity estimates
-> safe optimization suggestions
-> risk level + tests needed
-> report-only mode by default
-> one-command install

CODEX SKILL THAT TURNS LOCAL SEARCH INTO CLIENT LEADS!
I made a Codex skill that helps find local businesses that may need a website.
Search nearby shops, gyms, restaurants, salons, and local activities while Codex checks who has a real website and who only has socials.
-> local business prospecting
-> website vs social-only checks
-> lead scoring
-> phone/contact fields
-> chat or CSV-style output
