If Israel's "occupation" is the root of everything, explain this: The Palestine "Liberation" Organization was founded when Jordan ruled the West Bank and Egypt ruled Gaza—along with the one million Palestinians living there. The PLO never demanded a two-state solution from Egypt or Jordan and ignored both Arab occupations entirely. It focused solely on destroying Israel militarily—which, ironically, would also have endangered the 150,000+ Arabs who remained in Israel after 1948. Those Arabs became full Israeli citizens and now number over 2.1 million—20% of Israel's population. The so-called "Israeli occupiers" were the ones who liberated the Palestinians living inside Israel. After 1967, when Israel controlled the West Bank and Gaza, every terrorist group that governed the Palestinians living there delivered only corruption, death, and occupation. It was never about the Palestinians. It was—and is—only about destroying Israel.
