🚨 NEW According to DHS, Marcos Iriarte-Valdez—the man accused of stabbing a 68-year-old man in front of his home in Martinez—is an illegal alien. Due to California law, local law enforcement could not turn him over to ICE when he was previously arrested for violating a protective order in 2025 or for burglary earlier this year. Contra Costa County currently allows limited cooperation with ICE after a conviction for certain serious or violent crimes, which is permitted under state law. However, the Board of Supervisors is considering a new non-cooperation policy that would prohibit law enforcement from voluntarily cooperating with ICE in almost all circumstances—even when the individual is a convicted murderer. Today, immigration activists organized to attend the Board of Supervisors meeting to demand that the Board pass an ordinance codifying strict non-cooperation. There was extensive discussion of “safety” and “protecting residents,” but the practical effect would be to shield illegal aliens from being sent home, including those who are dangerous criminals. One speaker accused ICE of being murderers while arguing for protections for actual convicted murderers. The Board will consider the policy change at its September 8 meeting.

NEW Democrat US Senate candidate Ashley Webb is trying to counter claims that he is a man without a uterus by sharing what appears to be his CT scan report. The report makes no mention of a uterus or any other female reproductive organs. It does, however, mention the scrotum. Webb has previously claimed on Reddit that doctors mistook his uterus for his bladder. I feel bad harping on someone who is clearly struggling with his mental health, but Democrats put him on a debate stage, and anyone who questions such delusional claims is routinely attacked and called names.

GLSEN (recently rebranded as “Glisten”) is a major national advocacy organization promoting LGBTQ ideology in schools. Every few years, it releases its National School Climate Survey, which claims to show that schools are unsafe for LGBTQ students. Those findings are then used to justify codifying LGBTQ ideology into law, school policy, and curriculum. The survey’s statistics are cited in court cases, including the dissent in Mahmoud v. Taylor, and are incorporated into many schools’ sex education lessons. The numbers are frequently treated as authoritative national statistics. But the underlying data comes from an anonymous online survey open to anyone who claims to be LGBTQ and between the ages of 13 and 21. Beyond the obvious self-selection bias, since students who see themselves as victimized are more likely to participate, there is no way to verify who is actually responding.
