I was looking into the Solana SGP 001 proposal I think the whole L1 governance bonanza is going to kill more than a few L1s/apps. It’s wild how much governance, bureaucracy, and DAO-like circlejerking we’re injecting into the execution of these networks/apps. For God’s sake, Anthropic and OpenAI are prob worth a combined $4T+, and Dario and Sam are still fully at the helm. They’re not putting every strategic decision up for a shareholder/user vote. That is how you execute at warpspeed. Maybe wait until you’re worth $1T before you start codifying constitutions, governance frameworks, and whatever other bullshit you want to call it. Until then, let the people who actually know what they’re doing ship. We’re turning L1s that should be competing like startups into Soviet governance experiments.
