🇵🇱 To mark Armed Forces Day, Poland just held its largest military parade in history, putting more than 300 military vehicles, 60 aircraft, and 20 naval vessels on display.
Abrams, K2 and Leopard tanks rolled through Warsaw alongside HIMARS and Patriot systems, while F-35s joined the air display as Poland showcased one of Europe's fastest military buildups.
The message from PM Tusk was simple: “Only the strong will avoid war.”
Poland knows a thing or two about being invaded; over the past 100 years it's spent 51 of them under direct foreign occupation or outright loss of independence, and another 44 years as a Soviet-dominated satellite state.
Tusk is hoping Putin's watching the display.
