Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani(@NYCMayor):This afternoon, I joined Archbishop Elpidophoros and faith leaders at St. Nicholas National Shrine to mark the 25 years since the horrific terror attacks of 9/11 and reflect on the resilience of our city. St. Nicholas was the only house of worship destroyed on September 11. Its rebuilding reflects the spirit that carried New Yorkers through the days, months and years in the wake of the attack: a belief in each other, the hope of recovery, and a determination to begin again. Today, we stand on hallowed ground. We remember those we lost, who carried our city forward. And we carry that shared spirit with us as we build a city worthy of all those who call it home.
