Okay. I was wrong about @bot. I said I didn't care. A week in, I get it now. I connected my email, calendar and custom apps, and it just works. @elonmusk @grok @spacexai

What questions do you have about Jev?
Working on my @herdrdev video and that new remote machine feature is pretty awesome. The terminal is still 👑
Kill it. Plan mode is unnecessary now. Especially with the right harness.
we’re thinking of killing plan mode and using the shift+tab hotkey to adjust effort levels I don’t think the models need plan mode anymore, but if you’re a plan mode diehard would love to get your feedback on why

My only complaint with Omarchy right now is that keybindings force my hands away from the home row. (by default)j
This video took FOREVER to record because I went deep. By #25# I was regretting the premise.
@NetworkChuck @dhh At first I was like, I’ve been using Omarchy for over a year what does he know that I don’t? But after watching the whole video I can definitely say I learned a few useful things, especially the scratchpad. No idea how I missed this awesome feature for this long.

“but they need to learn how to use AI or they will get left behind!” ——-> Learning to think is the best way to learn how to use AI.
I took AI away from my kids. - It’s been a while, actually. I had given them some local model access but……they aren’t ready for it yet. ———> THEY ARE STILL LEARNING HOW TO THINK <————- - The danger we are ALL facing right now is letting AI do too much of the thinking for us. - I struggle finding that balance. ——-> So my kids read books. Physical books. - I gave them searchable, self-hosted Wikipedia. No Google. No AI summaries. - They write. No AI, not even spell check. I will eventually give them AI but not right now. Maybe I can find a good way to implement it in their lives without the temptation to replace their thinking. Not there yet. But I would love to hear any ideas!💡

Omarchy kids is a really good idea. I was already going to get it on their machines but may wait until this is ready.
Announcement: I joined the Omarchy Kids team! I have two daughters and I would love it if they had a safe and good computer. I am currently focused on Screen Time.
I've been praying through this recently and it will rock you to your core. I know this won't be for everyone but the sentiment is something we could all benefit from....just meditating on this. ----> Litany of Humility (attributed to Cardinal Rafael Merry del Val, early 1900s) O Jesus, meek and humble of heart, Hear me. From the desire of being esteemed, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the desire of being loved, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the desire of being extolled, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the desire of being honored, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the desire of being praised, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the desire of being preferred to others, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the desire of being consulted, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the desire of being approved, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the fear of being humiliated, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the fear of being despised, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the fear of suffering rebukes, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the fear of being calumniated, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the fear of being forgotten, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the fear of being ridiculed, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the fear of being wronged, Deliver me, O Jesus. From the fear of being suspected, Deliver me, O Jesus. That others may be loved more than I, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may be esteemed more than I, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That, in the opinion of the world, others may increase and I may decrease, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may be chosen and I set aside, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may be praised and I go unnoticed, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may be preferred to me in everything, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others may become holier than I, provided that I may become as holy as I should, Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it.

You procrastinate because the task is too big in your head. Not because you're lazy. Your brain just freaks out. So I just set a timer for 25 minutes. That's it. Don't worry about finishing. Don't even think about the whole thing. Just work for 25 minutes. I'm telling you, once you start, you keep going. The hardest part is starting.

You’ve heard of tcpdump and tshark, but you need to try termshark! It’s a full terminal user interface for tshark that lets you inspect pcaps right in your CLI. You can even use your mouse to click and filter for things! Use it when you are stuck in a remote SSH session and need the power of Wireshark without a GUI. Go try it NOW!!
