You procrastinate because the task is too big in your head. Not because you're lazy. Your brain just freaks out. So I just set a timer for 25 minutes. That's it. Don't worry about finishing. Don't even think about the whole thing. Just work for 25 minutes. I'm telling you, once you start, you keep going. The hardest part is starting.

I have never known/cared about the political dispositions of the people who wrote the software I use. Turns out some ppl fall to the left or right of where I personally land. Not the end of the world. And I mostly use open source stuff where I can so you can't even be like "you are funding them". But wait let's get even crazier: I think you can collaborate on a software project with ppl you don't agree with politically!

I was just encouraged by a new friend to be more outspoken on what I DO believe. - Every one of you is fearfully and wonderfully made. All of you. The Linux community is actually pretty amazing when you think about it. Yes, there is some tension right now over a new distro that I will not name…….but WOW there is so much passion and care for Linux!! (I know this sounds sarcastic but I’m being completely serious) ———> KEEP fighting, ARGUE!!, DISAGREE!! This will ultimately make Linux better. HOWEVER, we could be a bit kinder to each other. Remember, we largely have the same goals; We want more people using Linux. We all love Linux. Let’s make this the year of the Linux desktop.
