Many of the areas we went, there is not a single cell provider that has reception for long distances. Here is a speed test location at one camp site. And, yes, the more remote the better it performs. We ran Starlink for 8,431 miles - non-stop and turned off cellular data to prevent switching and dropping from the network.

Today we met Bob. Bob uses Starlink wifi to sell merch.
Bob is also a Minnesota transplant from our hometown.
Bob is cool. If you cross the Yukon on the Dalton Hwy, you should stop and see Bob at the log cabin. He's got a wealth of knowledge.

I'm completely blown away by the performance of the Starlink Mini.
120 miles from the nearest town, and in the middle of the Alaskan Tundra.
And Cell reception 🤣🤣🤣 laughable.
The speeds are insane and kept us streaming wifi for over 3,000 miles uninterrupted on the way in.
