The story in Michigan last night is the same one we've been seeing all across the country: Socialists run for office saying that they are champions of the working class. And their winning coalitions consist of high income, highly educated people-- while being firmly rejected by the actual blue collar workers they claim to represent. It turns out working class voters don't want to live in a country where low-wage migrants are flooded into their communities.

Our government spent nearly $2 trillion on healthcare last year. It's the largest overall area of federal spending at 30%.
The total amount of military aid we sent overseas, meanwhile, was roughly $7 billion.
This type of left-wing 'populism' is nothing but slop-- and the end result of it isn't making the lives of the working class better.
