The law is clear: where pollution may be harming people's health and wellbeing, councils have a legal duty to investigate. Yet the sewage pollution continues. Just two weeks ago, E. coli levels in the River Thames soared to around 30 times their usual levels after sewage was discharged during the record-breaking heatwave. 🤢💩 River Action is calling for water companies to be held accountable to the communities they serve.
