Same here, our old car insurance company was giving us a $700+ discount at renewal. I told myself, let me try State Farm to see what they quote me...they gave us a $600 discount over our old company's already discounted rate, and for BETTER coverage than what we had prior.
Long story short, we're saving $1,300 for the year, with more robust liability and UM protection, and much smaller deductibles.
This was a major and pleasant surprise.
